Okay, in the interest of full disclosure, I must admit that I don't do coffee. I find its odor to be offensive and its taste even worse. However, I do recognize that I am the odd one out on this subject. You guys all love the putrid stuff. So the question then becomes how much do you all consume??

Well, there is this to help us find an answer:

Looking just at this graphic alone, one might assume that Luxembourgers consume the most coffee. But don't they primarily have those little tiny cups? If the unit of measure is cups, then certainly size does matter. The size of the cup of coffee that is. 🤦‍♀

Around here (New England, USA), those who do imbibe of this odiferous fluid do so in big 20-24 ounce chilled cups (590 - 710ml). In contrast, those little cups they deal with in Luxembourg tend to be around 5-6 ounces (150 - 180 ml). So number of cups consumed seems to be a very skewed unit of measure tending to bias the results in favor of those with tiny cups. ;)

- Do you do coffee?
- If so, how? Hot? Cold? With milk?
- And how much do you consume in a day? -- Please answer this last question in the poll. :)

I have literally measured my consumption by the pot, so say ounces is ridiculous! 🤣

My coffee maker makes 12 CUPS in the pot and I literally drink at least one pot or more a day! Yes at least 96 ounces a day!

And I have actually reduced that from 2 pots a day! I used drink a pot at work as well as a pot at home.

Always hot and black with sugar.

Now the caffeine content is totally a different matter. Coffee growing up would make most people hair curl just on the caffeine content.

Yet my coffee maker can't make it anywhere near the strength mom made it. Four heaping soup spoons is it's maximum and with the extra strength button pressed. Slower yet stronger.

@DeWayfarer Wow, that is a lot. I wonder what impact your body would feel if tomorrow you had zero coffee?? 🤔

@sarabee1995 you must understand that coffee was a serious thing in even my whole family. My father was certainly no different than I am on the quantity.

He worked at a donut shop before retiring.
