Do you have an Aldi in your area? Aldi is all about the Pumpkin Spice Season. They advertise weekly specials and it’s been full of pumpkin spice foods and also all sort of pumpkin-themed housewares, decor etc. I thought they would stop this after a few years but nope still going strong.

@cherokeepatti Yes...it's in a separate little shopping plaza near Walmart. I don't find the prices to be competitive so I've only been in there once.

@4meAndyou Wow, they are very less expensive on a lot of foods like fresh produce or canned items like beans than Walmarts here.

@cherokeepatti That's what I was told, too. But it wasn't true.

@4meAndyou I guess it’s different in your state or on the east coast. I compare prices and all of that. I’ve noticed a lot of the Walmart’s brand of canned fruits and veggies including beans are a lower quality. And Walmart is a cheater on things like boxes of pasta in their brand. I’ve weighed them in the box and the weight listed on the box is not supposed to include the box. But still ends up being between and ounce or two less than the stated weight. I’ve done this several times on different scales. Someone in another area of the country had posted this on another website so I started checking.

@cherokeepatti What I find particularly upsetting is that the cans WEIGH what they are supposed to weigh, but when you open the can, it's all water inside. That happened to me with a can of Del Monte french cut green beans. Only HALF the can contained green beans!
