I have to drink decaff because I get heart palpitations from too much caffeine. I like both Aldi and Lidl ground beans, brewed in a simple cafetiere.

@ArtieKat that happens to my wife, and heart burn. I once had serious heart arrhythmias from excess coffee, but I was really up there, as in over 15 cups a day.

@samueltyler2 I used to drink about 6 large mugs of instant coffee at work when it first happened, in my early 40s

@ArtieKat i never liked instant. But, yes I was up to 15 cups at work.

@ArtieKat my first trip to UK in 1967 i remember being warned how bad the coffee was.

@samueltyler2 We're agreed on that. I had a Starbucks for the first time in ages, about a week ago. Costa Coffee - which Coca Cola are looking to sell - is far superior

@ArtieKat in Canada they have Tim Horton's which is pretty good, unused to like Peet's and eagles Best, often at airports.
