Coffee - a follow up question.

I'm done with trying to use filter adapters for my Keurig... I quit using the pods because of plastic pods and the environment. So, I'm searching for the best single serve coffee making experience I can find.

Does anybody have a non pod single-serve coffee maker they like? Brand and model number?

Why not just use a French press instead of a machine? They make great coffee...

@AntisocialTroll that's true... might be the best idea.

@Ontheroad I've a metal one that's double walled to keep the coffee hot, I dunno how I ever lived without one, I love mine.

@AntisocialTroll I just Googled Metal French Press and found several that look excellent... probably the way I'll go. Thank you!

@Ontheroad I hope you love it as much as I love mine.

@AntisocialTroll I've never had a french press not allow coffee grounds into my mug. That feature of a french press has always left me unimpressed. No, I didn't push the press down too fast.

@AntisocialTroll I'm sure I will. I had and actually still have an old glass one, but the filter was not removable and very difficult to clean... I stopped using it and it just sits in the cabinet. After you mentioned it I remembered how good the coffee came out using it, so I'm sure this metal (with a detachable easy-to-clean screen) will be the best choice for me.

@AntisocialTroll I was going to mention a press
@come2gether not all french presses are created equal. Some dont have very good fliters.

@OogieBoogie With mine I find it's usually my fault if I get grounds in me coffee, if I either forget to stir it or fill it too full I get grounds in me mug.

I'm not very with it first thing...🤣
🤣@AntisocialTroll i hear ya .😂
... and winter only makes it worse 😭

@AntisocialTroll being "with it" is highly overrated... I do some good work when I'm lost in my own little slightly fuzzy world😁
