The most absurd marketing idea. Coffee for never less than seven dollars.

Now even more expensive. I wonder how many people said decades ago, No one in their right mind is going to spend that amount of money for a large cup of coffee. It's just too ridiculous. Yet, the line of cars nearly surrounds our local Starbucks and no one questions the absurd dollar amount.

Starbucks is rubbish.. However, American coffee overall was a shocking disappointment. Any place in Melbourne that opened trying to serve that crap would be closed in a couple of months. 馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman I will say "Chock full of nut's" suits me just fine. Not expensive but a nice, smooth coffee that is an old reliable standby I trust and depend on especially with the colder weather moving in.

@Grateful4you "Chock Full of Nuts" is truly an underrated brand of coffee. Starbucks is a traffic hazard in my area.

@Crazywaterspring So nice to hear another poster who supports "Chock full of nuts" that really did make me happy again. So thanks a lot bud! I sure needed that this afternoon.

@whowasthatmaskedman What a dreadful experience. I would have been writing a flurry of letters. Damn!

@Grateful4you Actually I used Starbucks as a barometer.. When I got desperate enough to want it, is was time to go home.. Here, McDonalds were forced to produce better coffee than Starbucks in the US, or the mothers would take their kids elsewhere for lunch..Not that McDonald has great coffee of course.馃樂
