Imagine you’re going on a first date with someone, and they want to go to a Chinese buffet

Kind of an odd first date idea, but you agree anyway. You get there and you guys are getting along. They say they love Chinese food, but when they return to the table with their food, they have the most odd collection of food from the buffet you can imagine. Like a few pieces of jello, a little pickle from the salad bar, maybe some cantaloupe.
The date goes fine and they’re easy to talk to. Would you go on another date if they asked you? And if your answer is yes, what if they wanted to eat at the Chinese buffet again? And if the answer is still yes, would you bring up their choice of food?

and no this didn’t happen to me, but I have the giggles over this hypothetical situation

Yes if I got the 2nd date vibe
Their food choice wouldn't weigh in on it but id ask if they are vegan or something.
@FreeSpirit1 I just like pickles and jello, don’t food shame me. 🥺

@DarkHeaven I love pickles, I'm sure you can find stories I've posted about them. It's sounds cliche but I got a serious urge for them when I was pregnant, I've always liked them but after getting pregnant I had to have them all the time and still do, dill is my favorite
@FreeSpirit1 same. part of it’s the vinegar. I love salt and vinegar chips too.
