Why would anyone in the working-class pay for restaurant/fastfood breakfast? (Other than on special occasions)

I just don't understand it, it seems like murican's love to go to places like starbucks or mcdonalds and get a breakfast sandwhich. Here in sweden we just make our own breakfast.

Many dont too. Id say most do make their own breakfast, but a huge percentage does order coffee at drive thrus in the morning. McDonald's used to have a good egg and cheese bagel sandwich, I used to get it every couole months. Now its only the egg Mcmuffin on English muffin.
