Beer, water and soda was all the same price

$3.00 each, same as candy bars and chips.
I chose that price point to drive up the ladies tips and it worked. Golf course receives no commission with the low prices.

Apparently the overall margin still made it worth it for you
MarineBob · 61-69, M
@averageguy only because the beer was gotten with trades

@MarineBob that's how business has to work at times, as you well know. Trade now for payoff later. I see why competition gets mad. You work on a thinner margin spread over multiple income streams. Your competition in any category is making all their income from that one stream
and all are cheaper than gas, remember drink don't drive

Do you have to have a liquor license to sell beer?
MarineBob · 61-69, M
@hunkalove yes and liquor liability insurance
