4.5 litres = 7.9 UK pints (practically a gallon) so no wonder your conversion is "roughly"!

I'd be well under the table before that amount... I've had my moments but I doubt I've ever managed that far.

(For the Americans here, it's 9.5 US pints.)

Roughly 9, more accurately 9.5. A pint is roughly a quart, or two pints. If you can drink that much and stll type, remind me not to challenge you to a contest.
