Beer drinkers

How many beers do you like to drink in a session?
I like to drink 8 pints but I am told that this is too much. Is it ?

It certainly is if that's a habit, risking long-term damage.

I had had few binges over the years but my average intake now is down to about 2 pints one evening a week, and there are weeks when I don't drink alcohol at all.
