Anybody plan on baking quick breads for the holiday?

I had it planned to do banana nut and pumpkin quick breads so tonight I tried a new pumpkin bread recipe. Turns out it is extremely important to not get distracted and forget to add the pumpkin puree. 😞

I made pumpkin pies one year and forgot to add the sugar.

@Ontheroad We do. It makes. Me feel so foolish when I do it though.
Ive been thinking about the quick breads this year. I was planning on making one cookie or bread every day for this last bit before chirstmas, rather than trying to make a bunch all at once.
But I’m thinking lemon pound cake and pumpkin bread may both get made this afternoon though. I really want the lemon pound cake but everyone else is all in on pumpkin, so its just going to have to be.

@nonsensiclesnail The nice thing is it's impossible to go wrong with either and lemon pound cake... yeah! Yummy! Tomorrow I'm going to do the pumpkin bread again and this time add the pumpkin! Although now that you mentioned it, that lemon pound cake sounds maybe too good to not make. Having to go get lemons for the zest may save me 😁
