Frozen bacon from 2024.

I have frozen bacon that has been in the freezer since 2024, it's never been touched. Is it okay for me to thaw out and eat? It's also good-quality bacon, from the Applegate brand.

I would unfreeze it and use my senses, look at it, smell it, fry a piece and taste it. I think it can be used.

@Boeing freezer burn is the biggest issue

@Likestoenjoylife I mean I have heard stories of feeding deep frozen meats to soldiers for years, meaning decades old. I don't think a bacon from last year is that bad, but as I said I would use my senses, if I had a cat or dog, their senses are even sharper
