I used to love cocktails but haven't had one in years. Easy to over do them though, some really are delicious..
You sound like me, I learned the hard way about overeating on the holidays and just practically ruined myself. It wasn't worth it and I'll never do it again. I know that. We learned a good lesson so now we can move on and do what we need to do. No need to beat ourselves up but remember that it's not worth it. I'm working on getting fitter now and doing my exercises. That feels far better than indulging in food! Never again. We do have a choice.

@LadyGrace I haven't drank in many many years but sometimes my work takes a toll & I just need to decompress so I'd have maybe three cocktails & then I'm calm & sleepy. But like I said, that was ridiculous & yes - lesson learned!!
@Tumbleweed ABSOLUTELY!!! AND THE BEAUTY OF THAT IS, THAT IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. We can just get back in the boat and start paddling again. Hahaha
@Tumbleweed I'm so glad you listened to what you needed at the time and didn't feel bad about it. It was a good release. I'm glad you feel better.

Oh no! I hope you’re not suffering too badly today. 🤗
We are not in our 20’s anymore, I barely drink because I tend to make yummy drinks that you feel later. 😬

Good for you in wanting to quit. I haven't drank in over twelve years, so if there is any advice I can give you, just let me know. Congratulations on your new journey!

I've yet to drink based on what I've seen with family and will never. I've yet to see a compelling reason to and it's overrated

@FloorGenAdm Nooooo!! I'm serious, I'm all done!! If I can't drink responsibly, I don't need to drink at all!
