I'm never drinking again, y'all. It was fun.... til it wasn't!!
I called my friend, ran him out of bed, got to crying, then puking, then passed out on him. I haven't been in that shape in a loooonnnng time, I like a few cocktails to relax but that was ridiculous. I definitely took it a sip or two too far & now I want no parts of any of it!! 😵😵💫😫
You sound like me, I learned the hard way about overeating on the holidays and just practically ruined myself. It wasn't worth it and I'll never do it again. I know that. We learned a good lesson so now we can move on and do what we need to do. No need to beat ourselves up but remember that it's not worth it. I'm working on getting fitter now and doing my exercises. That feels far better than indulging in food! Never again. We do have a choice.
@Tumbleweed ABSOLUTELY!!! AND THE BEAUTY OF THAT IS, THAT IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO START ALL OVER AGAIN. We can just get back in the boat and start paddling again. Hahaha
@Tumbleweed I'm so glad you listened to what you needed at the time and didn't feel bad about it. It was a good release. I'm glad you feel better.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us. Ralph Waldo emerson. This quote emphasizes the importance of inner strength and character over past experiences and Future uncertainties. Our true potential and value come from within, rather than from external circumstances.
Oh no! I hope you’re not suffering too badly today. 🤗 We are not in our 20’s anymore, I barely drink because I tend to make yummy drinks that you feel later. 😬
@Tumbleweed the secret is day drinking; start at noon, be drunk by 1:30, nap on the sofa, wake up at 3:00, start drinking water, eat dinner, go to bed sober.
Good for you in wanting to quit. I haven't drank in over twelve years, so if there is any advice I can give you, just let me know. Congratulations on your new journey!
