5 o’clock meaning ?

I think it's one of those basic "rules to live by" just to keep some sort of restraint and composure so the alcoholism doesn't set in. But I lived in the ghetto, so our rules started at noon............................ "Just don't drink before noon." I would start heading to the liquor store around 11:55 am. 🤷‍♂️

There's no need to sober up at all. People work around the clock, and you can even have your own Friday on another day of the week. You can have Friday night in the morning if you work.

I even get drunk during work and nobody notice. I can actually act sober while I'm drunk since I'm use to it. Drinking is like heaven to me while this world goes to hell.

I work nights, I'll be having some beers when I'm home, my day is upside down from everyone else's.

Drink whenever you want,.....because .... It's always 5 o'clock somewhere. Lol

There’s no rule/law sying that you need to wait umtil 5PM. It’s just a guideline.
I often don’t start drinking until well after 5PM....but then, some days I start drinkimg in the morning and I’m drumk by well before 5PM.
