My parents and I all have our starter drinks
I get an amaretto coffee, mom gets a mimosa with sunrise vodka and my dad gets Budweiser with Clamato. The bartenders even got it nailed down now. 🤭

I have only ever drank with my mom a few times. One of them was a when I was a sophomore in college. We went to a party with some of her work friends and I drank a 6 pack of Budweiser bottles like it was nothing and wasn’t even phased. She was like “young man you must be drinking a whole lot more in college than what you’ve been telling me” and wasn’t too thrilled about it. So I rarely drank with her after that. She grew up with an abusive alcoholic father so she had sensitivities to people drinking too much.
She rarely ever drinks at all now due to other meds she takes. The last time I drank with her was at the Christmas party she held this past Christmas, I had 1 fuzzy navel.
