most of the places I eat out offers veteran discounts

Went out to eat last night with a friend. She thinks it is wrong that I always hand them my discount card.the place we went to offers veterans 50 percent off their meal. Why would I not take advantage of that deal... I earned it

I think your friend is possibly jealous and she should be grateful to those who have served and be happy that others give discounts for that.
