Went out to eat last night with a friend. She thinks it is wrong that I always hand them my discount card.the place we went to offers veterans 50 percent off their meal. Why would I not take advantage of that deal... I earned it

So it's something within her world view and perception, for whatever reason that view was shaped and formed. She seems to associate coupons with female activity like shopping, and probably thinks it's unmanly for a man to use one.

Just know, it's not you. The problem lies within her perception, and she probably does not view it as a problem, just a reality. I don't think you can change that, or even if you want to.
