OMG, why do people eat Brie cheese? Disgusting

I had some last night at my bible study group and I had to spill it all out! Yuck!

I have never had it but have been curious, they feature it during holidays at stores here. Now I won't buy it because it's too expensive to buy & throw out. Some of the French cheeses smell like dirty socks or farts in my opinion.

@bdh1986: good grief why does he do that...there's nothing better than homemade cheeses made with fresh milk, we used to make it on the farm. In Morocco they'd take a pot full of butter and cover it well and bury it underground for a year or more so it'll slowly turn rancid, and then they use it to flavor a type of tangine or couscous...they act like it's a delicacy and maybe that was all they had for months after a cow went dry, but to me anything with the word "rancid" in it is unhealthy for the liver.

@cherokeepatti: well he has cirrhosis from years of drinking but he still oves his sweaty feet cheese and crackers! The smell reminds me of my high school gym locker room.

@bdh1986: Had a flight on Air France from Morocco, they served different types of cheese at every meal or snack. There was one type that had an odor, when everyone unwrapped it the plane smelled like a big fart...and you couldn't just roll a window down for fresh air, it had to circulate for over 15 minutes to remove it.

@bdh1986: I like the UK cheeses a lot better, they make good dairy products there.
