How do you open a new packet of biscuits?
Are you a ripper / destroyer, or do you open carefully so that you can reseal afterwards?

Slice with sharp knife and empty into tin.

Problem with a tin: as the tin empties, the remaining biscuits are exposed to the air and get that stale taste on them?

@WalterF: mine has a filter thing on it to remove moisture.

Yes. I have two. One for sweet biscuits and one for Crackers.
