What sushi can I get and not go "wrong"?

Going to eat sushi with a friend tonight. Not exactly a sushi connoisseur, so naturally I don't know what the hell I'm eating when I get sushi. I know most sushi I've had is decent or good, but specifics please!

If you like crunchy & spicy, go for one with shrimp tempura in it with spicy sauce.
