I made gumbo and cornbread for dinner

Roommate had three helpings!!! I guess it was good. ☺

I'm never happy with my cornbread. 😭 I always make it too dry somehow. Any tips???

Use a mixture of butter and vegetable oil. It'll come out moist.

well, if your roomy had 3 helpings (i'm guessing the cornbread too) then why change...keep up the good work ☺

To make moist, tender cornbread, use buttermilk, sour cream or Greek yogurt, extra fat like melted butter or oil, and avoid overbaking
