What foods would you really miss if you moved to a totally different part of the world and different culture?

Something you probably wouldn't be able to get there.

@CrazyMusicLover Spain getting roughly the same zones as the UK makes me suspicious about the validity of this concentric scheme

Id prolly miss the naturalness of many of the foods i eat :
- beef from pastured cows,
- milk , (as above )
- fresh fruit, eggs and veggies.
- hand crafted foods.

I think I'm spoilt for good food living here

BBQ (Texas Style) Brisket, ribs, then fillets, Okra, Squash, Asparagus, creamed spinach. Stuff like that.
I wouldn't move anywhere like that

The main cuisines I like are Mexican, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Greek, Turkish, and Lebanese ... and to a lesser extent, what is actually local in my own native region (US southern / soul food, at least the pescatarian aspects of it)

The main place I'd want to move to would be somewhere like Nice, and with the exception of US southern / soul food (which isn't crucial for me), you can get everything else there (and perhaps grow your own okra, for example) ... it seems like you can also get most of those non-US cuisines in Marseille and Montpellier too

With Nice in particular I'm not sure how much the diversity in food owes to having lots of expats
