Good Mexican food.

I live in a state that borders with Mexico. There are plenty of good Mexican restaurants here. Some are corporate but the best are family owned. The best family owned joints won't be in the fancier parts of town. Some are in strip shopping centers, reused restaurant buildings, a room in a private residence or in a converted gas station. The prices are competitive and have large servings. If your Spanish isn't good they'll get a kid to translate. Those are the best places.
