King of the hot sandwich

The French dip, it doesn’t get much better! Easy to make and just a bit of heaven.

I love a French Dip.
averageguy · 46-50, M
They are delicious for sure, with the correct bread
Adamjoshua · 18-21, MNew
@averageguy i live by a Publix their bakery is shit except for their breads, their French bread is perfect as long as you get it fresh, butter and toast it. Has a good crunch and it holds up when you dip
averageguy · 46-50, M
@Adamjoshua hear hear on the publix bakery. That is exactly what a French dip sandwich bread must be like. If not, it suddenly mimics WWII French army, a failure
SleepingWithGhosts · 46-50, M
Second after the Philly.
Adamjoshua · 18-21, MNew
@SleepingWithGhosts you lost me at cheese whiz lol
Yum it could use some cheese and if it's easy to make why didn't you make it?
Adamjoshua · 18-21, MNew
@Mildud why didn’t i make cheese? I prefer bread, meat, au jus and steak fries (crispy). No cheese, no onions, no horse radish or any of those other travesties lol
@Adamjoshua man of the woods
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Depends on the au jus.

Some can even ruin the sandwich.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Adamjoshua I would make my own from the actual roast. Not hard if you have a decent wine and a few other things.
Adamjoshua · 18-21, MNew
@DeWayfarer yah i mean it’s enough to make the actual sandwich and i don’t have then every day, plus London bowl not a full top round, i do dip the b out f which gives the au jus the beef kick.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Adamjoshua the au jus can be frozen as cubes.. 🤷🏻‍♂ Good for months frozen.
helenoftroy2000 · 22-25, F
British dip is ok..kind of like tartar sauce
Adamjoshua · 18-21, MNew
@helenoftroy2000 wouldn’t that be fish and chips 💀
helenoftroy2000 · 22-25, F
@Adamjoshua no thats a different sauce
Dan193 · 31-35, M
What meat is that?
Adamjoshua · 18-21, MNew
@Dan193 London broil, cook it on the rare side of medium rare then quick dip it in a hot au just it will suck up the flavor and cook to a medium rare, then put it on the toasted French bread.

Gibbon · 70-79, M
