In your opinion, what is the most nutritious food one can eat? I mean if you could only name one most dense with nutrition!

Looking for nutrition that heals the body… wondering if I’m missing something loaded with something I’m not consuming.

Thanks to all of you that answered… I just wanted to see if I was missing something I don’t eat cause I’m willing to eat anything that would benefit me. I believe in the power of good nutrition and there’s healing in it!! ❤

@Unefilletrescurieuse that's what i mean.. i don't like to pick just one.. but i guess milk or cheese
@GoFish oh hun… just go with the flow… lol

Milk used to be considered a definite super food. Remember the tv commercial, “milk it does the body good”?

Ginger has many benefits.
@therighttothink50 Also I take Tumeric daily supplement with ginger in it. I’d rather get the ginger from food.

@Unefilletrescurieuse Black pepper too? Makes the Tumeric work as intended
@TexChik True.. I pepper my food so much it makes my esophagus burn… lol 😂
gregloa · 61-69, M
@gregloa oh yes… I eat fish weekly.
If you can grow it in the ground ...it's healthy
@cherny not always… some mushrooms are poisonous and I don’t need to tell you about poison ivy…

For snacking look up combining shelled pistachios pumpkin seeds and dried tart cherries.

The "super" status of this snack comes from the synergy of its components. Unlike single-ingredient snacks, this mix provides a comprehensive profile of macronutrients and micronutrients:

@Unefilletrescurieuse they are so good 😒

Eggs, Salmon, Avocado, Beans, cloves
@TexChik I’m well aware.

When I was hospitalized, while in ER, I had to have chemical cardiac conversion. They told me when they put it in my IV that I’d probably feel like someone kicked me in the chest…after receiving it. I didn’t feel any untoward affects from it right then. But 2-3 days later… my chest hurt so bad from it it was unbelievable…. My heart is not enlarged. My Echogram was clean as a whistle. No clots but many effects experienced and still experiencing from ANS dysfunction. My sinus node was firing every which way but the right way. Getting hot makes me deathly sick. 🤢 My BP and pulse were unreal. Metoprolol keeps HR normal (in normal range) even under exertion most days. But BP is unpredictable. I manage it the best way I can and have been doing quite well doing it. I’ve come a long wayyyyyy from all that physical crazy… I had brain fog terribly and even my eyes were affected with terrible irritation and my skin itches. I’m on a long road to complete healing but very thankful to God to be alive and surviving covid. Many people I knew died. Before Covid struck me, my only affliction was severe allergies… environmental and of course cats. Now… my problems make the allergies seem non existent.

There are better days ahead and I believe one day soon, I’ll be completely back to normal. For now I’m only able to do half of my gym routine…

@Unefilletrescurieuse I know you are, just sayin...Im sorry you have had to deal with that
@TexChik Thank you sweet friend. It’s humbled me and made me pray more. 🙏

potatoes, green beans, squash, etc.
@wildbill83 I eat them all and especially in the summer. 🙂
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
Sweet potato
@FreeSpirit1 It’s true! I was just thinking last night of buying a couple…. Cause I haven’t had one lately. I’m game for any dense nutrients these days even if I don’t like them, I will eat them for medicinal purposes.
WasEP · 51-55, M
@FreeSpirit1 even better if you eat the skin
@WasEP on regular potatoes as well….
bowman81 · M
BACON!!!!!
🤣
@bowman81 nah… I want to live… not die! 😅Bacon is tasty but rarely consumed here!

I know you were joking.
