If you're making burgers and hot dogs on a grill outside are you grilling or bbqing?

How about my phrase I am cooking out!

I was born in the northwest part of Missouri on a farm. We always called it a cookout. But everyone here says either BBQing or grilling.

Neither, I hate cooking

Cookin out

I don’t camp

Grilling, I guess.
