They do it because...

I was shopping for a quick snack for lunch at my job, and came across this crazy chip bag..it said 2 bags for one dollar, or one bag for 59 cents??
I stopped and those pesky thoughts of 8th grade math class came to me...how does 59 cents plus 59 cents equal a dollar??They do it because the portions are smaller, the taxes are higher and people just purchase nothing but chemicals..theres no nutritional value yet we buy junk, over priced junk and call it food. I get it, 59 cents plus 59 cents is not a dollar..in fact it is $1.18 but add 7 cents sales tax and 8 cents for school and amid the crisis of war, famine, death, pesticides, oh yeah..its more like 10.97..a full bag is gonna cost less and you buy partial air afyer shipments settle!
Anybody else say this math is not mathin? Hmm..
