What is your favorite type of food?

Okay, so I do love me some good Italian. And I mean Italian, not the Americanized Italian we get here. And Spanish Tapas!! Omg, I can sit there all day and nibble. Don't get me started on Turkish Kebabs! Yum.

@sarabee1995 Normal, ordinary food like milk, eggs, veggies. Everything is very high quality and their national supermarket, the Albert Heijn, is a joy to shop in. Whatever cuisine I made from the food, it was wonderful. Even the pet food is better than everywhere else.
That being said, I remember a ready to eat kind of meal with potatoes and meat, usually a sausage, called "stoompot", just a Euro or two for a great meal. Even the potatoes are extra good.
And the cheese! I could talk forever about the cheese...

@Roundandroundwego Nice. I've been to the Netherlands a couple of times, but don't recall seeing or trying Stoompot. I will for sure next time. :)

@sarabee1995 I looked into Google, and it said my misspelling of "stampoot" (I swear I heard "stoompot"!)is very common, I bet you would always find it in the Albert Heijn, anyway. I like to heat it up in a casserole dish with cubes of "oude kaas", old cheese, until the cheese melts.
