What is your favorite type of food?

Okay, so I do love me some good Italian. And I mean Italian, not the Americanized Italian we get here. And Spanish Tapas!! Omg, I can sit there all day and nibble. Don't get me started on Turkish Kebabs! Yum.

I’m making Persian food tonight, braised chicken with sour plums, potatoes, carrots and grape tomatoes. And saffron rice to go with it and a salad. I love nearly all of the Persian food I’ve had, it can be sweet and savory at the same time. Persian kebabs are really good too. I also love Thai food, Indian food and American foods too.

@cherokeepatti I had some heavily Persian-influenced food when I was visiting Baku in Azerbaijan. I had one meal that sounds exactly like what you described above with the braised chicken with all the sides. Everything was laid out before us and you just picked what you wanted from the table. Very communal style of eating.
