😳 Had a chat friend -- whom I actually met once -- from the GL area who was a professional chef. She constantly complained no one in the Midwest and GL wanted good food; just fry it and smother it in gravy, add a little jello on the side.
In my travels, I would have to say that was a little harsh and extreme -- sarcasm is by definition -- but not too far off the mark.
