I don't add mayo to anything, as it makes me violently ill.
My ingredient is sun dried tomatoes or red peppers...gives a bit of added kick.

@DragonFruit why does mayo make you ill? are you allergic to the contents or is it psychological? the thought grosses you out?
DragonFruit · 70-79, M
@YoMomma It's the raw egg....I can eat cooked eggs, but anything we ith raw egg makes me sick to my stomach.

@DragonFruit isn't it heated to a serialized temperature? commercialized mayo anyway? pasteurized so to speak?
DragonFruit · 70-79, M
@YoMomma Pasteurizing doesn't seem to do the trick, but well cooked eggs are OK for me to consume. This is apparently not as uncommon as some might think, as I know other people who have the same problem with uncooked eggs. Custards are tricky, because some are cooked and some aren't. It's not technically an allergy, but an intolerance to the uncooked egg.
