Any Christmas dinner disasters?

I think there must have been a power surge or whatever it's called because I assumed the turkey was almost ready to come out of the oven and put the roast potatoes, stuffing and pigs in blankets in, stabbed the turkey with the thermometer and it was only half cooked so everything else came back out and in went the turkey again. Dinner was almost an hour and a half later than planned 😆
It turned out good in the end though! 👌

We didn't have a food disaster but like every holiday, my mom had to criticize something about me and when I said, Why do you need to always criticize,? She went into a f@#$ing RAGE.. screaming and just volatile. It's awful dealing with her, always having to mind anything you say or she'll go psychotic. It was horrible in years past. I don't want to do it anymore and no one deserves it. Luckily the rest of the Eve was ok after that but it's sad to have to be on edge during every holiday.

@Coralmist Oh no! Sorry to hear that, being on edge is not good or productive 😌
