The oldest surviving Arabic cookbook 🍪🍳 what’s the oldest surviving cookbook in your language?

the oldest surviving Arabic cookbooks are

1/ a book by Ibn Sayyār al-Warrāq from the 900s . It is a comprehensive collection of over 600 recipes, with some of the included recipes potentially dating back to the 8th and 9th centuries and

2/ another book by al-Baghdādi from the 1200s with About 160 recipes.

I couldn’t find English translation for the first, but I did for the latter.

The Forme of Cury, a manuscript roll created in about 1390 by the master cooks of Kung Richard II. It features some of the spices mentioned in your introduction . . they had universal value in the medieval world.
