I was on it back in 2020 during the pandemic. I have not been on it since then though. Now that I think about it, I should have also filed for unemployment, too. But I went back to work like 3 months after the pandemic started. I just got tired of sitting at home and living in fear. I believe a person should be on food stamp assistance if they really need it. Dont you. I mean, I would rather you have an EBT card than for you to go out and rob someone. But it seems that lately, peoples benefits have been cut off. The good news is that it is now back on. But you will only get half of what you had before, just in time for the holidays. Have you ever been on foodstamps before. 🤔

I don't have any problems with someone on public assistance as long as it is a crutch and not a lifestyle. But I have a problem with politicians and public employees giving them to illegal aliens for political favoritism and vote buying. They should prosecute the employees that do this. It's theft and takes away from those that really need them.
I have know a few people that needed them, single mothers that were part of the working poor that could not get them because they 'made too much', but illegal aliens get them and people that are not doing anything to get off them.
We all pay into the system that permits them and there should not be any shame to receive them if they are necessary.
