There is a vendor at the local farmers market that is giving away ground beef to anyone who shows their SNAP card. I guess for as long as the meat lasts till it runs out. And so many others are doing things to help out those in need. They posted this one free-standing food pantry and they are dotted all over my city where people can help themselves. Different individuals are building these pantries and installing them. And people can also donate what they want, including some fresh fruit and veggies.

There is lots of good, people getting together to try and do..something at least

Thats great to hear people are supporting others during these hard times. The people in charge are to busy golfing to care so its up to the everyday people to help.

One of the positives of being surrounded by nastiness is that you get to see who the genuinely good people are, not just the ones who spout platitudes. This is heartening.

Giving directly to a food bank , with a parcel is better than giving online. Too many accountants, and training courses, expenses, fat lawyers, eat up the money.

People always come through in hard times. We need to come together all the time tho.
