But the Salvation Army, which normally delivers food to some large apartment buildings during the other months of the year, does NOT deliver food during the months of November and December. Instead, they put their money from donations toward Thanksgiving turkeys, and Christmas presents for kids.

So...no food from THEM.

AND...speaking of insanity...one of my insane neighbors is in charge of organizing the canned goods from the Salvation Army...AND canned goods from my community food share....AND right before SNAP benefits will be cut off, she has decided to go on a clean out binge, and has thrown away loads of perfectly good canned foods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
