It’s Strange How Having The Very Identical Meal Can Sit Well One Time And The Next Time Will Cause Bloating and Pain…

Like last night. I made stuffed peppers in tomato sauce last night and had kale salad to go with it. They were so good a couple weeks ago that I wanted to make them again. But last night I started bloating right after I finished eating and was in a lot of pain. Ray was also bloating. I got up and made a pot of anti-bloating tea and about 30 minutes later drank it. And strange that it didn’t affect the boy at all. I made the stuffed peppers the exact same way as I did two weeks ago.

This is the tea I made. Ordered it from Amazon a couple years ago and need to reorder again.

Wow!! I am so sorry! No one likes that feeling!

Here's what google AI says about it:

"When comparing the likelihood of causing gas and bloating, kale is more likely to cause gas and bloating compared to bell peppers. Kale is a cruciferous vegetable that contains high levels of raffinose and fiber, which can lead to gas and bloating due to fermentation by gut bacteria in the large intestine. Bell peppers, on the other hand, are low in raffinose and fiber, making them less likely to cause gas and bloating."

@4meAndyou I didn’t have a problem before last night with either one of those foods. I just wondered if it was because I had a Chobani mango yogurt (sugar free sweetened with stevia) a few hours before. It tasted way richer than the Oikos sugar-free yogurts that I have been eating every day. So good I was thinking I might have to buy more of it.

Anyway that tea took care of it quickly. The bad news is that I searched for it on Amazon and it’s unavailable now, said they didn’t know for how long. I went to the Gaia website but it’s in Italy and I want to order online in the USA and not another country.
