@LilMissAnonyMOUSE it briefly closed when it's owner was killed, then reopened under different management, no wonder. I loved their kasha varnishkes

@samueltyler2 I see. ...at least they're back in business (after such a tragedy). My favorite was Gourmet Deli.

@LilMissAnonyMOUSE they were never the same though, after the death of the original owner. Most people think about Katz's deli, the one in When Harry met Sally, but that is not Kosher, and not as good really, while much more expensive.

@samueltyler2 Oh, I guess he was the one who really made the place what it was. Katz is popular too. All 3 are in the general area where I lived and worked. I haven't been back to the US for years so I don't know if most of my favorite shops and stores are still around.
