@GnomeyGee That's very strange then.. because I can't figure out what else it could be that would make you think that eating pinto beans on chocolate cake was normal social behavior?
@swirlie Whoa whoa whoa! I didnt say anything about it being normal. We don't use that word around here and actually my pawpaw is the one who had me try it and it turned out pretty good
@swirlie Actually, in China and most other Asian countries, most pastries are made with some type of bean paste filling. They are not as sugar oriented as we are here in North America so their pastries are not as sweet tasting.
@swirlie If you live in an area that has a good Asian grocery store, you will find them. We have two near where I live, (one Chinese, one Korean,) the Korean grocery actually has a full bakery in their store and makes all types of Asian cakes and pastries.
