If maple syrup on bacon is a thing, do you put custard on a Sunday roast?

Bacon is fairly salty and sweet and salty goes well together. The Sunday roast is more savory, so a sweet might not pair with it as well.

Personally, I think the syrup goes better with breakfast sausage than with bacon. But it works.
