For a laugh the other day I created a spreadsheet....
I went to rehab in 2004. I was drinking in pubs, mostly pints of Guinness.
My daily intake was around 12 to 15 pints. But to err on side of caution I took an average of 60 pints a week.
Guinness in 2004 was £2.20 a pint. Recently I bought one for my son just under £6.00. So smooth that increase over the last 21 years, assume a constant intake of 60 pints a week (it kept going up hence my need to sort this out) but just for illustration.
I've saved over 21 years somewhere north of £250,000.
😂😂😂😂😂

@OldBrit Buy yourself a house in a cheap area.. or a very nice car. (But dont park it in front of the house. It will be up in bricks in minutes)😷
