What's your favorite foods to eat? Do you enjoy your own cooking better or from restaurants?

I usually prefer to cook for myself ,but there is a family run restaurant that is worth going to .It has great old fashioned American food at prices they are as reasonable as you can expect in the current economy - which is not to say that it's cheap.
