It's very vinegary. I finally tried it a few years back, after passing it up every Christmas. Only cause my parents wanted my daughter to try it, so I tried it with her. There now I can say I tried it. Then I moved on to the polish sausage and ham pickle roll ups. 😋
Just like the cannibal sandwich, that big here in Wisconsin, but I believe it's spread out over the mid-west. I'd never try that, cause it's fucking raw!!!

Actually that totally makes sense, majority of immigrants were of German descent, specifically Milwaukee, where I grew up. Poles and Irish next.
