White or Brown?

...Sugar.

I prefer brown sugar in my coffee. No creamer necessary, unless that coffee is so strong it can cause palpitations.

I prefer white sugar in my tea. Milk is optional, unless I am drinking it in the presence of the Englishfolk.

I don’t add sugar to anything anymore, but occasionally I’ll add stevia or monkfruit if a sweetener is needed.

@bijouxbroussard I find that stevia leaves an unpleasant aftertaste - I just limit the amount of sugar I consume
@ArtieKat It doesn’t bother me, so I find it easier (for me) to avoid sugar when possible.

@bijouxbroussard Drinks without sugar are fine for me - as you said recipes sometimes require a sweetener of some form
@ArtieKat This morning I had an Irish coffee (something I rarely indulge in anymore) but I was able to enjoy it without the spoonful of sugar.

@bijouxbroussard I'm just sipping whisky (it's just gone 10.30pm here and I'm lying on my bed) but you've now got me wondering if I can be arsed going downstairs to make one!
