Which instant food do you like more or would rather have?

In each case I would rather have the non-instant version, although in each case I know people who prefer instant.

But if I had to choose between the two, I would pick Mac and Cheese.

I like potatoes but aren't they like a side dish?

I had frozen mac&cheese for breakfast yesterday. It was okay. Probably shoulda defrosted it first.

Instant mashed potatoes are pretty good.
