Sorry for being so negative, but what the hell is the point of basil?

It smells like nothing it taste like nothing. It enhances nothing. There’s no point to it.

I love basil. There are quite a few different kinds. I use fresh basil from my garden. Lol give another kind a try!

@Ferise1 Yes. It's yummy with fresh tomato, garlic, mozzarella and a little olive oil. I can't remember the name of the dish, but the basil really makes it phenomenal. My hubby likes it with Italian bread, but I eat it like a salad.
