I’m used to the cuisine found here in Turin

Turin is known for its rich and varied cuisine, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Some of the most popular and traditional dishes include agnolotti al plin (a ravioli-like pasta), Vitello Tonnato (veal in tuna mayonnaise), and Bagna Cauda (a warm fondue-like dip with garlic and anchovies).

Traditional Dishes:
Agnolotti al Plin: A type of ravioli filled with a mix of meat, cheese, and vegetables, often served with a rich meat sauce.
Vitello Tonnato: Thinly sliced veal served with a creamy sauce made from tuna, capers, and other ingredients.
Bagna Cauda: A warm dip made with garlic, anchovies, olive oil, and other ingredients, served with a variety of raw vegetables.
Tajarin: A thin, delicate egg pasta, often served with butter or a rich broth.
Brasato al Barolo: A slow-cooked beef dish braised in Barolo wine.
Gianduiotto: A semi-soft hazelnut chocolate confection, a Turin specialty.
Bicerin: A classic coffee drink made with espresso, hot chocolate, and milk, often served with a Gianduiotto.
Other Turin Delights:
Grissini: Thin, crispy breadsticks, a Turin staple that are often served as an appetizer or with antipasti.
Bollito Misto: A boiled meat dish, traditionally featuring beef, veal, and chicken, often served with a variety of sauces.
Insalata Russa (Russian Salad): A salad made with diced potatoes, carrots, peas, and mayonnaise.
Carne Cruda: A Piedmontese take on beef tartare.

Many restaurants and trattorias in Turin offer traditional dishes. You can find them in the city center, in neighborhoods like Borgo antico (old town), and in the various districts of Turin.
