Aw! Make him his shepherds pie darlin.
Just curious, would it not be helpful for her to learn how to handle change, to see that she can make changes and be okay? Even get some added self esteem by seeing herself master those occasions? I realize it’s not simple but seems as if it would be a valuable life lesson, even if it’s given in tiny steps over time.

@OlderSometimesWiser we are working with a new neurologist to help her learn how to cope with and deal with the stress of changes in her daily routine. It is a process right now.

Maybe have a talk about it with all the family and ask them that the more complicated meals can only be planned for a weekend or once in a while.
So to take some pressure off.
Maybe better not today but bring it up a different day.

@AngelUnforgiven I am just going to suck it up and cook the meal. Their might be other changes in our plans so I don't want a repeat of a few weeks ago when she go overwhelmed and had a meltdown
