I buy a large ham every two or three months, and cut it up for the freezer. I use the bone to make pea soup and I use the ham to make "baked" crockpot beans, and I've just taken out a small chunk to thaw so that I can have a ham dinner on Sunday! It won't be as nice as YOUR ham, more of a "token" ham...🤣🤣🤣 And congrats on the great bargain!

I love basing my grocery decisions on the discount bin. I rarely buy hams but if I saw a nice deal like that , I’d have done the same thing.

My mom would poke cloves in it and pour overtop a mix of brown sugar and pineapple or orange juice. So delicious. I haven’t had it in 25 years
my mom used to do pretty much the exact same thing,,,,her pea soup was amazing
@NoGamesTolerated Lucky with the price. Easy to cook.

placed pineapple slices on it

In other words, now it's worth about $0.10? 🤨
@wildbill83 Working on it…
